The most important Community Activity now and for some time to come will be the San Marcos District Community Planning effort. Your Association is being joined by the Rancho San Marcos Homeowners Association, representatives from most surrounding areas and large landowners to plan the future of out community. This is to be a public undertaking. Everyone may participate. Information about meetings and activities will be posted on this site.
We were approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 27th 2003. There was a positive recommendation by the County Planning Staff and easy passage on June 10 of their resolution to the same effect.
Meetings have begun and we are moving well along. You are invited to come along and take part. The best time to join is at the beginning, but any time is OK. The only thing that is not OK is to ignore what is going on and then to object once decisions have been made.
There is now a San Marcos Planning District Page which will be the center of information for all planning items.
